In this process, we remove any dirt, dust, or grease from those surfaces and leave only a perfectly flawless glass surface. Measure and Cut Window Tint Film

Even if you drive a run-of-the-mill, base model vehicle, we STILL measure twice and cut once, as there are always minute differences in every vehicle. We measure the exact dimensions of the windows you want to tint and cut the film accordingly, making sure to leave a small margin around the edges to avoid gaps and so every inch of what is being tinted will be covered with expert precision.

Prepare the Film and Your Window

To ensure that the window tint film gets applied to your vehicle correctly, we first lay the window tint film flat on a clean surface with the protective backing facing up. We use the water and soap mixture to wet the adhesive side of the film evenly. This will prevent the film from sticking prematurely and allows us to adjust its position during installation. Finally, we carefully place the wet adhesive side of the film onto the wet window surface and reposition accordingly.

Apply and Smooth to Finish

By hand, we apply your window tint film pieces to the inside surfaces of your windows and windshields. But even with this meticulous effort, we still must ensure that the film has adhered smoothly to the surfaces. Starting from the center, we use a squeegee or window film application tool to gently push out any air bubbles and water from underneath the film. We work our way outwards towards the edges while avoiding applying too much pressure to prevent creases or damage to the film.

There are several complexities surrounding working with window tint film products, installation, and the various legalities set forth by the state of Florida. Below you can find some of the specifics surrounding window tint film darkness and reflectiveness allowed in the Sunshine State:


All front side windows on all size vehicles, which include both small sedans and large trucks, must have a window tint film that allows up to 28% of visible light transmission into the cab. The rear driver and passenger side windows, along with the rear windshield, differs a bit. For smaller vehicles, the visible light transmission requirement is much higher, requiring those automobiles to allow for up to 15% VLT, while larger trucks, vans, and SUVs only require 6% VLT. Tint reflection for both smaller and larger vehicles is the same, as front windows cannot be more than 25% reflective and rear windows no more than 35% reflective.
